Hello all!
I posted my arm exercises on NEWOMANS blog the other day but here's another for you:
SPEND THE WHOLE WEEKEND BUILDING a 20 metre by 1 metre block wall!
Each block weighed 13 kilos and there were 400 of them that had to be moved and lifted into place!
Then there was all the gravel that had to be shovelled out of the trailer, into the wheelbarrow and then shovelled into the trench behind the wall!
Of course I didnt' do all this on my own! My brother and I built this wall. We spent the whole weekend on it but, we're proud to say, we did it and it looks fantastic!
My upper arms, legs and buttocks are still sore so I've had 2 days off from exercise! Back into my walking and jogging tomorrow morning (if the rain holds off that is).
BTW - after all that extra exercise, the scales showed a gain yesterday of 1.5 kilos! Go figure!
Never mind, I'm sure it will right itself sooner or later - hopefully in time for weigh-in tomorrow night!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been doing some intense exercise!! I bet that you noticed how far you've come in being able to do all that! Well done you, good to mix things up a bit!
