THANK YOU to my wonderful SUPPORT TEAM!

It's really wonderful to see how many "followers" I have supporting me on my journey to goal!

This week I've started to jog!!! Well, perhaps it's just a shuffle at this stage but it really felt great! I just started with some intervals of 50m at a time which I did 6 times during my morning walk!

It's funny you know because I used to be a champion sprinter back in High School but before my first "jog" I thought to myself "do I know how to jog?"

I have sore butt muscles so there's another muscle that I've discovered! I've been working on my arms for the past 6 weeks using 1 kilo hand-weights and that's woken up some previously dormant muscles too!

My daily exercise regime now is:
** walk for 1 hour with interval jogging
** use the rowing machine for 1/2 an hour
** 60 sit-ups
** 120 arm exercises with weights
** 30 touch toes

I'm hoping to be much better toned by the time I get to goal!

I can't believe that this previous "couch-potato" is doing so much exercise! I can't say I LOVE IT - but as I said in the previous post - I do love how I feel afterwards!

Please leave a comment as I love to hear from you all!

Have a great week everyone! Gae oxoxox

  1. Hi Gae,

Thanks for following my journal, and your lovely comment on my recent post! Just wanted to congratulate you on the jogging - what a big acheivement!

Your exercise regime seems really well balanced and I'm sure it will help lose weight and tone up! I have to confess I'm still a couch potato, just one that eats more healthily... I'm recovering from an acute bout of achilles tendonitis so have to take it easy at this stage, but really hope to incorporate some exercise into my day soon! You've reminded me that I could still be doing some work on my arms and core as I recover... may have to try that this week or next!

All the best for the coming week,

    Kase xo

  3. I swear you look younger in every photo! The weight loss is so good on you! As for the 60 sit-ups - you are my hero!! I did 32 the other day and haven't been able to exercise since due to a very sore back. I'm going tonight though.
You are doing incredibly well. I bet you feel great.

That photo is incredible. And you are looking younger all the time. I thought the last one was an amazing transformation. Keep up the hard work. Can you tell me what "arm excercises" you are doing...I'm trying to get rid of the "tuck shop ladies" arms!!!
