Hello all
There was a post on the message boards about what exercise we LOVE! Well, I replied that I couldn't say that I LOVE exercise but I certainly LOVE how I feel once I've done it. Yah, got to love those endorphins!
I believe that exercise is one of those daily chores that just have to be done - like making your bed or cleaning your teeth! Just make it a habit - get into a routine and before you know it, you'll be exercising each and every day too.
If you're a morning person like me, have your exercise clothes and joggers in the bathroom so when you wake and visit the WC, there they are to put on and before you know it, you're off and exercising!
If you're an evening person, have them ready to put on when you change after work or before your evening shower - just do it!
It really is one of the necessary elements to obtaining goal and maintaining your weight when you get there! You'll find yourself nicely toned by goal weight too - an added bonus!
Fake it until you make it if you have too!
So, off you go - get those exercise clothes and joggers ready!
Best wishes - Gae oxoxo

I agree, I don't jump for joy when I am doing it but when I finished I feel so much better, plus I give myself a pat on the back for not being lazy and doing it. Martine
ReplyDeleteI agree but can't believe I'm saying that! I have never exercised regularly until I started 8 weeks ago. I make time for it in all kinds of ways. Just took my jet-lagged daughter to the gym today and she was amazed at what I was doing - she's never seen me do anything like this.
ReplyDeleteI hope I can keep this up - I like your attitude to it, and need to remember that too.
I have to say I was an active avoider of working out until I started WW again this year...now I cant get enough of it! So much so that the first thing I say when I came out of surgery is when can I get on the treadmill!!!!
ReplyDeleteI still need to find the motivation to start but once I do I find myself being totally addicted to the sweat and try and sweat more and more each session!
I guess I have learnt how good working out makes me feel as opposed to how guilty I used to feel not doing it! Lets hope we all keep it up!
