NOT happy Jan as I recorded an unexpected gain of 0.4 kilos at weigh-in on Wednesday night! How you people manage to lose over 1 kilo per week I don't know!
I track EVERYTHING I put into my mouth and drink at least 2 litres of water each day, eat all my points and still I lose small numbers! All I can think of is that I must do extra exercise!
I have a size 12 outfit to wear to my son's Bali wedding at the end of September so have 7 months to lose enough weight to fit into it which I WILL DO!
So, got to keep positive and just DO IT!!!
I love to hear from you so please leave a comment!
Have a great week everyone! Gae oxoxox

I hear you on the exercise! My first two weeks of WW show a loss of 900g... and I haven't done much exercise. So this week I am amping up the exercise and seeing how I go.
ReplyDeleteI *love* Bali. I went there a few years back, just loved it (I stayed away from the touristy place like Kuta though - very different!)
Good luck with this week. :)
I agree with the 1kg plus, I never lose that amount. Sometimes gains just happen, for no reason. They are a chance to review the previous week and see what you can improve. Are you eating enough? I find now that I am exercising more that I need to eat all my points I am so sure that next week will be a big loss. I think we all have been there at some point, you have gained but there is nothing you can do about that little + in your WW book, focus on this week ahead and do your absolute best. Take care Martinexx
ReplyDeleteYou will do it! Stay with it! I am not an expert, but from my experience, I can say that diet is only part of the equation. I was told that you have to burn a lot of calories with exercise ( I think over 3000) in order to loose a one pound. AS you exercise, you get healthier and stronger, as does your heart. So you have to increase the amount and the intensity to burn off calories. When I first started, walking and exercises without weight got my heart rate up. I was averaging a weight loss of 13 pounds per month. After five months, I am only losing 6-8 pounds a month with increased exercise. I bought a heart rate monitor and when I do the exercises I started with, my heart rate no longer goes up into the zone where I am burning calories. I now have to jog, run, or do heavy weights to get my heart rate going.
ReplyDeleteTake each day at a time and know that your journey will have high and lows. The most important this is for you to stay on it!
